British soprano Stephanie Hershaw was a member of the Young Artists Programme at the Landestheater Detmold 2021-23. Recent engagements include Suzanne/Robinson Crusoe with West Green House Opera, Zerlina/Don Giovanni, Romilda/Xerxes and Marie/Frau Luna, — at the Landestheater Detmold.
During the 23/24 season, Stephanie will make her house debut with Garsington Opera, as she returns to the role of Barbarina/Le nozze di Figaro. As well as this, Stephanie will cover and make her role debut as Susanna in the Opera First performance of Le nozze di Figaro with the Philharmonia Orchestra. Stephanie will also make a role and house debut with Danish National Opera as Lenio in The Greek Passion.
Stephanie was recently awarded a Theaterpreis for her time working at the Landestheater Detmold over the past two seasons. As well as this, a Stephanie was invited to take part in the Neue Stimmen: Masterclass Series 2023/24. Stephanie has been selected as an Orpheus Foundation Artist 2024.
